Jones Wishacy Gen 1 Chapter 2

So i have my writing head on and plenty of time to sit and edit any bits i dont like today so hopefully this will be ALOT better than chapter 1 :D xx

I headed down to the local diner, i had been asked to take in a dish to enter into a competition. I came second and won a small cash prize. That will come in handy for building our new house once Mercedes gets older.

I spent every spare minute with Mercedes, playing with her, teaching her to walk and talk and potty training her. She was super fast at learning all these new skills and it didn't take her long to master them.

I was desperate to have another child. Mercedes would be old enough to go to school soon and i didn't want to spend my days home alone or working full time. It wasn't long after we started trying that i fell pregnant again.

We had our very own house built just for us, it was only one bedroomed at the minute as we couldn't afford to build another room just yet. We just had the basics at the moment but im sure with alot of hard work we will be able to afford to buy the luxuries we had in our old house. We sold all our furniture so we could have extra money for building. We hadn't even been able to afford to paint the outside of the house yet.

Mercedes had grown up into a child and what a gorgeous child she is. She gained the family orientated trait just like me. I couldnt believe my baby girl would be starting school in a couple of days, she growing up way to fast.

It was 4am and i sat downstairs thinking about all the luxuries i missed now we had our new house. I started to wonder wether we had done the right thing or wether we should have waited until we had saved abit more money. As i sat i heard foot steps coming down the stairs it was Mercedes. She couldnt sleep, she was soo excited about having a brother or sister she was always feeling my tummy. I let her have a quick feel then i hugged her and sent her back up to bed.

We had finally been able to afford to build a room for Mercedes. It was girly and pink and i knew she would just love it.

As i was putting the finishing touches to Mercedes room i went into labour with baby number two.
